AhhChoooo!

(Silly Chap #1 dictating) This is me with a remote control car in the middle of the street, just standing there for the picture Mom was taking.

This is my school, Shady Grove Elementary. My mom was taking this picture. Looks nice, dosen't it?

Same thing. This is another picture of my school from the front.

This is another picture from in the middle of the road. My mom had to get out into the middle of the road to take the picture.

This is looking at the playground at the school.

Here are the tulips in the front yard. This string is a fence that my mom made to keep people (kids) from stepping on them.

(mom dictating) Every year I tell myself that I am going to take a picture of the school when the pear trees are blooming. Finally after 5 years I have some proof how beautiful that little school is when it is spring! Driving down towards the school is breath taking. The islands in the middle of the road are also blooming with pear tree blossoms. Even the boys last night coming into the subdivision said, "Whoa, mom, look at that!" However, I also forget how stinky those blooms are! I was reminded as I walked about the campus taking the pics today. Everyone here is also sniffing and weepy, the allergens are back!!!

St. Patricks Day

We celebrated St. Patricks with our buddies, and here are some pictures of us. We were being really goofy.

Here is Andrew and Erin. We had corned beef, carrots, and mashed potatoes and soda bread (with raisins).

Here is the first picture of the tulips in our front yard. This picture was taken Thursday, March 15. We will show you their growth as it happens...

from "Across the Pond"

I received a surprise the other day.....some tulips were sent to me from Mr. "Across the Pond".

And speaking of tulips, our front flower bed has sprouts of tulips coming up already. My sister and Andrew planted them last fall. Right now they are about 1"-2" above the ground. This is the first time I have grown this many tulips en masse. (approximately 50 bulbs) I am hoping the bunnies don't get to them before they bloom. They will be perfect for when the house goes-up for sale. (if they last that long!)

new chaussures

After watching both boys hobble around the ballpark this weekend, we decided they may need new cleats. So, here are our newest purchases....

Of course, you know Andrew.....he had to pose for me for this picture. (It looks like a homerun to me!) On the otherhand, I think Alex misunderstood me when I said "let's get some new shoes." For this is what he chose.......

I asked him if he had plans to go dancing. He said, "What?" Anyways, you can definitley sit in the bleachers and tell which kid is mine from a distance. AND, he did so well at practice last night, I am begining to wonder if they are some "magic slippers"!
We will keep you updated!
(p.s. I did this blog completely by myself....no help from tenten! Okay, well maybe a little.)

G-Force

A joint post with my blogging buddy, The B Blogger:

We went to G-Force last weekend for Brendan's birthday (in October!) with our dads. This is us with our helmets (and our cootie caps) in the equipment rooms.

It was a very hard track (by the way). I liked racing because I got better with each round. It was our first time racing. I thought it would be a regular loop outside, but it was inside (Brendan). I thought it was going to be a slanted, regular loop (Alex). Alex's car's name was Quicksilver and Brendan's was Racing Thunder (or, Racing Red Light!)

There was a teenager that crushed all our dads.

After go-karting, we went to Nacho Mama's for dinner and went to Brewster's for ice cream. We tricked our dads by ordering a waffle cone - they didn't know that they came in one size - HUMONGOUS!!

Welcome!

Hi! My name is Alex, my brother is Andrew. I am 8 years old and he is 5. I am moving to London, England soon. I will show you some things that I learn when I move there, and some things here beforehand. I learned how to blog from my friend, Brendan. He has a cool blog for himself. It is called "the B Blog". Mine is called sillychaps! (for me and my brother) I think this is good for now.
